Albert Edward Blackmore, 633571, enlisted
with the 20th Battalion of the London Regiment. He died in action
on 7th June 1917, at the age of 35.

Born in London to John James Blackmore and Elizabeth Jane Blackmore
(nee Trew) of 76 Varcoe Road, Camberwell, London, he worked on the
Southeast and Chatham rail line prior to war breaking out. He was
survived by his wife, Mary Ann Blackmore (nee Saggers), and five
children.
He is buried at the Perth Cemetery
(China Wall) outside Ypres, Belgium, VI C 5
