CASUALTIES
FOR WORLD WAR II

The Memorial to the Old Boys who died in World War II is in the
form of a book, created by Art Teacher the late Charlie Rowlands.
It is kept just beneath the large memorial window, by the stairs
in the entrance hall.

A list of the Old Boys, and links to the pages of the book
where they are named, may be found here:
Old Pharosians
May we recommend also a search of the
school photos, held at The School Archives, maintained by
Paul Skelton, where some of our casualties are pictured, for
example, in school sports teams. There are also panoramic
photos, where others, such as Keith Gillman (1936, Segment 1,
Row 6, number 8) may be found.
