Swaythling: 9191 Pte WSB Laslett, "C" company, 9th Battn, The
Buffs, Shoreham-by-Sea (Sussex). My youngest brother who has
been claimed under Lord Derby's Group System is desirous of
serving with me here. As I am the eldest of the family I should
like to have him under my care and would be very grateful if
through your good offices arrangements could be made for his
transfer to this depot. (The transfer was approved, and William
Laslett arrived at Swaythling on 15 April)
