Notified for your information that 8210 Pte. W. J. Philpott, section B Army Reserve, Royal Sussex Regiment, has been granted permission to proceed to Canada per SS Pretoria on 16 March 1913 for the purpose of taking up his residence in that country

I agree to be transferred to the Army Reserve at anytime after my arrival in the United Kingdom in accordance with the terms of War Office No. 115/AR/ general number 676. Dated 6/6/12. Hounslow 3/9/12.
